(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Northwest Region Crime Unit have charged a male and female in relation to an assault that occurred in the City of Kenora.
On Wednesday February 24, 2016 at approximately 7:00 p.m, a 59 year old male was walking on Fifth Ave south in front of the Knox Church and was approached and assaulted by a male and female.
The suspect was described as being in his late teens, First Nations, 6 feet tall, slim build with short brown hair. The suspect was also with female, unknown descriptors.
As a result of this investigation, Donovan BITTERN age 20, of Kenora has been charged with Assault and Fail to Comply with Probation Order. He is to appear in court on February 26, 2016 to answer to the charges.
Naomi MUCKLE age 18, from Kenora has been charged with Assault. She is to appear in Kenora court on March 17th, 2016 to answer to the charge.
The Kenora OPP is asking the members of the public who assisted the male, to come forward and provide more information with regards to this incident.
