FORT FRANCES WOMAN CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING
(ATIKOKAN, ON) – Shortly after 12:15 pm on June 28, 2016 members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called regarding a vehicle that was driving erratically nearly causing 2 head on collisions on Highway 11 near Atikokan. The vehicle was located a short time later.
Officers stopped the vehicle in question and conducted an investigation.
As a result of this investigation, Priscilla Miller (35) of Fort Frances has been charged criminally with:
- One count of having over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood;
- One count of impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Miller will appear in Atikokan Provincial Court on Wednesday August 3, 2016 at 11:00 am to answer to these charges.
Miller was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Driving while under suspension and will be appearing in Provincial Offences court in Atikokan on Thursday July 28, 2016 at 11:00 am.
